2006. Worked as a music consultant on the Vincent Ward film River Queen. 'Simian Surprise' (Remix of the Peter Gabriel Hit 'Shock The Monkey' produced under the monkier 'Multiman') chosen by Peter Gabriel as the winner of the inaugural RealWorld Remixed competition. Listed in Record Collector Magazine's 'best of 2006'. 2007 'Coming In' (Remix of the Angelique Kidjo and Peter Gabriel song 'Salala') chosen by Gabriel as the winner of the second RealWorld Remixed competition. Assisted in the music production and composition of the Vincent Ward film Rain of the Children including performance of various instruments in the score. 2008. Was involved in the development of the 'Our Space' multimedia installation at the Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa) and was commissioned to compose two multi-channel, non-linear pieces for 'The Wall'. Also co-composed music for 'The High Ride' in collaboration with composer John Psathas. 'Expulse' for solo piano and live electronics performed by Donald Nicolson as part of 'Strange Loops' a concert by contemporary music ensemble Stroma in Wellington New Zealand. 2009 'Bliss Mechanism' performed by Stroma May 17, Wellington NZ. The score of "Kilt" (Downes-1995) used in a new dance production by Crow's Feet - Dance Collective (NZ) Noise (theme and variations) screened at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing as part of the Talk and screening of 'Noise (theme and variations)' and 'Generation' at the New Zealand International Arts Festival. (March 7 Illot Theatre Wellington NZ.) 'Kindom' performed by NZTrio. (August 28 Auckland Museum Auditorium NZ) 'Generation' and 'Noise' screened at the New Zealand Electroacoustic Music Symposium (September 2 Auckland NZ) 2011 'Flight On Light' CD by Greek Clarinetist Manos Achalinotopoulos released by Rattle Records including track 'Crystalline Athos' in collaboration with Downes Generation to be screened at NewTown Arts event. Pasadena, California. Generation featured on ARTE Creative website. 'Waterthreads' piece for cello and recorded sounds premiered in Auckland NZ. Performed by Ashley Brown
